Guests are welcome to explore our 12 acres of gardens and woodland. A fast flowing stream runs through the land and close to the cottages, so please watch out for young children. There are beehives in our apiary and it is advisable not to approach the hives, but we can arrange apiary visits wearing appropriate protective clothing if you wish.

Further afield yet within easy reach are lakes, mountains, beaches, rivers, forests, nature reserves, steam railways, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, pony trekking and numerous other tourist attractions.
