3 bedrooms, sleeps 5; scroll down for availability calendar and pictures.
We acquired Hen Feudy in January 2015 and it is available all year round. Please feel free to contact us for details.
Hen Feudy was the milking parlour on Erw Goed farm, converted to a comfortable cottage in the 1990s, so we were very pleased when the chance came to buy it and bring it back into the farm.
There are 3 bedrooms: a double with ensuite wc/shower room, and a twin upstairs; a single bedroom and the family bathroom downstairs. Travel cot and stairgate available. There are electric panel heaters in every room and a log burning stove in the lounge (logs and fireguard available).
Lounge with sliding patio doors to front. Conservatory with door to front. Kitchen, serving hatch to lounge, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer. Dining room with board games, puzzles and books. .
TV is via sky+ box, freeview channels only; DVD; Wifi throughout.
There is a large (1 acre) fenced garden with stream running through, and of course, the 12 acre smallholding of Erw Goed to explore. The parking area is just outside the garden and is ample for 2 cars. The cottage is reached by means of a small foot bridge over the stream which is very shallow at that point. There is a shed in the garden that can be used to store bicycles, and a shared camp-fire site is available for outdoor cooking or camp fires.
Pets are welcome. The garden is fenced but a determined dog may find a way out – so please be careful. There are sheep in the field on the way to the estuary (with lambs during the summer months), and our own chickens, ducks and turkeys which often range free. They do not usually venture into the Hen Feudy garden, but will come close enough to be seen and possibly excite your dog into breaking out.
Friday change over. Short breaks available outside peak season.
The calendar at the bottom of this page, below the pictures, shows when Hen Feudy is not available. Bookings can be made for all other dates.
